The kettle is on and the china teapot has been warmed with boiling water for just a minute or two. Tea is measured - one teaspoon per person and one for the pot.
SUGARED MINT LEAVES
- lightly brush dry leaves with beaten egg white and dip into granulated sugar. Place on rack to dry in a warmish place.
- thinly sliced cucumber on buttered white bread. I like to add a dash of hot mustard powder (Coleman's) to the softened butter.
