Let's Have A Cuppa

Cynsa | Oct 10, 2012 01:03 AM

It's time for tea time treats, my dears. Please come to afternoon tea (virtual) here at four o'clock on Thursday Afternoon 11 October - when I will close this thread.
The kettle is on and the china teapot has been warmed with boiling water for just a minute or two. Tea is measured - one teaspoon per person and one for the pot.

- lightly brush dry leaves with beaten egg white and dip into granulated sugar. Place on rack to dry in a warmish place.

- thinly sliced cucumber on buttered white bread. I like to add a dash of hot mustard powder (Coleman's) to the softened butter.

what will you bring to the tea table, please?
