I found this site, there is a God (denomination/sect of your choice)!! I'm a native San Diegan who, after 25 years out of the City/County, recently moved back home. Having spent the last 10 years in the Bay Area, I'm sad to say I was struck by food culture shock upon moving back here. Who knew finding flat leaf parsley in San Diego would be such a chore.
At the moment I am trying to source 3 things - 1) a really great fish market for fresh fish, 2) a really great meat market (or grocery store with a full service meat counter) and 3) a really great Mission-style Burrito (as in the Mission District in S.F.)
Have car will travel................
Will *definitely* appreciate any and all suggestions, and have already started the list of places to try after reading a lot of the previous posts.
