Cuchina Del Arte/Palm Beach

EdAllegro | Feb 20, 200406:03 AM

We met a friend for dinner last night at Cuchina Del Arte on S. Poincina in PB.......I'll not return during "high season".
It was crowded and the noise was unbearable (about 80db to 100 db). We asked the waiter to turn off the Italian opera blaring over the PA. He complied and then, voila, we could almost hear him describe the specials. My ears were ringing for a hour after leaving.
On the positive side, the food was good. Our Duck l'Orange special was tasty and well prepared, but poorly plated with a lack of artistic flair. It appeared the vegetables (tasty and fresh) were ladled and plated with no concern for presentation. My wife's grouper was also quite good, but again, not well presented. Service was barely adequate. Our table was also far too small to encourage pleasant, comfortable dining. Due to the noise we didn't stay for dessert, coffee, or conversation.
