Crummy But Good

When I last left DC, the Post was publishing a wonderful little column known as "Crummy But Good", which focused on out of the way dining establishments with great food, but little in the way of aesthetics. While I still haven't forgiven the author of the column for increasing the crowds at my beloved G&M, I was saddened to discover upon my recent return to the area that the Post no longer has a "Crummy But Good" column. What happened? Tom Siestma, despite claims to the contrary, certainly doesn't spend a lot of time on the dive beat (in fairness, he has his hands full with reviewing the burgeoning DC steakhouse scene), but is there any good source for finding new hidden gems in the area?
