croissants & tempura: not at the same time

Like the subject says, I'm looking to satisfy two
cravings, croissants and tempura, although not at the
same time.

The tempura should be light and virtually greaseless.
The croissant should be flaky, appropriately buttery,
and NON-filled. C'mon, help me out!
