Croissants and Other Good Stuff

Where is a good place to get freshly baked croissants? Not looking for the packaged ones that are readily available and somewhat limp. I want and need the true CROISSANT that is light and airy, a bit crisp on the outside, a bit soft and chewy on the inside, and melt-in-your-mouth buttery. Nothing like having one with my coffee or hot chocolate on a rainy day.

Location - prefer close to my own (non westside) SGV home.
