Crocodile Meat Soup at Nature Pagoda

Chandavkl | Dec 7, 200503:07 PM

Just stumbled onto a branch of Nature Pagoda, this one in Diamond Square on the corner of Garvey and San Gabriel Bl. in Rosemead. Nature Pagoda is probably best described as a Chinese medicinal restaurant, though not to the extent of the departed Soup Fans Restaurant in El Monte. I think their soups and teas are their primary medicinal products. Besides crocodile soup (I have no idea what that is supposed to enhance or cure) they have soups containing frogs, rabbits, quail, various herbs and black chicken. Other specialties include fresh frogs and hasmar (frog glands) desserts. Me, I had the curry fish balls.
