Please critique my list for St Louis

Jase | Oct 7, 201409:31 PM     37

Hi,

Los Angeles hound visiting St Louis for a week soon purely for pleasure. I'm planning to do the usual sights and of course do a lot of good eating. I'm more of a low brow kind of guy although am comfortable at high end places. But only like to go to those if it's really worth it. I'll be staying in the Clayton area, will have a car and also planning to take the train to downtown.

Places I've got on my list.

Pappy's
Bogart's
Sugarfire
Hendrick's
Roper's (for fried snoot)
Smoki O's (for fried snoot)

O'Connell's (for the burger or roast beef sandwich)
Ted Drewe's

Gioia's Deli
Iriskic Brothers market
Soulard Market

Cafe Manhattan
Pastaria
The Crossing
I Frattelini
Niche
Pan d'Olive

Oh and I'm looking for a good place to have a slinger and gooey butter cake.

Special shout out to Nosh and Lemons for all their posts I mined. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
