Crif Dogs Bites the Big One

Tom Andray | Jan 11, 2002 05:06 PM

Just thought I'd put out a warning about Crif Dogs on St. Mark's Place in the East Village. My girlfriend and I went there, hoping for a great experience and were sadly disappointed. The buns were stale and the guy running the place was a jerk when we asked him if we could have fresh buns. My girlfriend had the veggie dog and said it was not flavorful and it was just warm, almost cold! I had a regular dog and wasn't impressed. The place on 7th--Dawgs on the Park--is so much better. And the guys in there are super cool. I already posted something about this experience, but thought I'd post again, hoping to save anyone from a cruddy hot dog experience. That's it. HAPPY EATING! --Tom
