Just came back from this new-ish crepe restaurant on Columbus and 108th. The savory crepes are buckwheat--very nice texture. I had ratatouille and goat cheese, which I really enjoyed. My friend had ratatouille and chicken, which he said was good but maybe needed cheese to bind the elements together more. Both came with some mixed greens, nicely dressed. My friend started with a large portion of black bean soup, which he really enjoyed. I had a bite and thought it was good, but not exceptional.
For dessert my friend ordered (and I had a few bites of) a sweet crepe (these are made with white flour) filled with caramel, cinnamon apples, and creme fraiche. Tasty, and not too sweet. Generous portion.
Total tab (including tea and a glass of wine) $33 after tax and before tip.
They also serve breakfast, lunch, and have salads and sandwiches. A nice addition to the neighborhood.
