We ate there last night and were very pleasantly surprised. Started off splitting an heirloom tomato salad. First of all, it was huge-- not really heirloom tomatoes, but nice, large ripe slices of tomato covered with a fresh grilled corn vinaigrette and goat cheese. For entrees, my husband had the roast Amish chicken, mashed potatoes and a side of broccoli rabe. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and he really enjoyed it. I had mussels in tomato sauce with calamari and a side of fries. The mussels were plump and tasty and the fries were excellent. There was a nice, reasonably priced wine selection.
The service was a bit spotty, but they tried hard. I gave them a pass as the place is relatively new. The bill for one app, two entrees and a bottle of wine was $88 before tip. I thought it was extremely reasonable for the quality of the food, plus, they gave us a certificate for $10 off our next visit. I also noticed they have a price fixed dinner that they offer early in the evenings-- I believe 3 courses for $25.
All in all, Crave is a welcome addition to the area, and we will be back.
