Covid 19 stay-at-home, pseudo 'Surf and Turf' BBQ dinner

Charles Yu | Jun 27, 202005:39 PM     4

Squeezing in a back-yard BBQ dinner before the supposed evening thunder-storm hits!

Pseudo-'Surf & Turf' featuring a tasting of Alberta Black Angus Striploin vs US Prime. A couple of Spanish Polpo tentacles to serve as the mini 'surf ' part!

Whilst my son was handling the protein, for the carbs., part.....I decided to step outside the box and make a fried rice with regular organic eggs and salted duck eggs, preserved duck liver sausages, diced French beans, scallions and XO Sauce.

Too hyped up to eat the food when hot....totally forgot about the wine part! Oh well?! Next time?!

{ Top was Alberta Angus, bottom was US Prime }
