you say corvino, i say corvina

Is anyone familiar with a fish called corvino? Arthur
Schwartz describes it as "large flake white fish like
halibut but more buttery, although not as buttery as
Chilean Sea Bass" and he was told it’s from the Gulf
of Mexico.

When I was in Chile a few years ago I had a local fish
called corvina, which turns out to be what they call
Chilean sea bass in Chile. No one calls it Patagonian
tooth fish, even there.

I’m wondering if corvina/corvino are related. Anybody
know?
