I have heard really good things about this particular place's burger. On Friday, I saw my favortie FoodTV show with Tony Bourdain. It was a repeat show I'd not seen and it was all about bars in NYC.
In the piece, he visited The Corner Bistro. He called their burger "pure and simple" the best in the City. Ok, but what I saw was a burger being cooked in a salamander broiler.
Personally, I like a char-broiled burger. Not big on any broiled burger but then again I never had a Leuger burger which Hounds have raved about. The Bistro's meat looked terrific though and the Greek owner (they know food) was proud to show off his meat to the viewers. Oops...Well, you know what I mean.
Just wondering, if I can get some more info about The Corner Bistro and perhaps some alternatives that char-broil their burgers. Only 1/2 lb plus freshly ground high quality meat burgers need apply.
