I'm wondering if anyone else shares my opinion of Copia Cultural Center in Napa? My wife and I went there because, like you, we love food, restaurants, and wine. We were unhappy. She was bored, I was downright mad.
First, sticker shock. $12.50 just to get in? Huh?
It must include free wine, right? Yes, if you are there from the hours of 2:00pm to 3:30pm. Wow.
Lot's to see? Yes, if you like big open rooms with little in them and big walls with food related art. And lots of doors. Doors to closed rooms. I think things were going on in those rooms but no one told us what or when.
How about things to do? Yes, interactive displays a kid might enjoy and you can walk around a big building looking for things to do.
Hey! They've got books! Well, none that I can't buy somewhere else, and cheaper. Look! A gift shop. wow.
I am positive it is worth the trip if you are going to see some of the guest speakers they have scheduled. I would however, not suggest anyone go there on a whim. You will be ripped off and bored.
