Four of us met for dinner Thursday night at T Cooks and it was fabulous as usual. We sat on the patio which was comfortable with the high fans but definitely a warm Phx evening. Strawberry salads, heirloom salad, and delicious bread and pesto dip for starters. All four entrees were full of flavor - veal flank steak with gnocchi, skate on truffle potatoes, filet on bleu cheese polenta, and scallops. Some nice wines and no room for dessert :(
Fine service and will have to return sooner, instead of waiting for an occassion.
My sister brought me pralines from her lunch the day before at Commander's Palace in Vegas. I had told her to take her group of 8 for lunch and it was a big hit - most of them got the lunch 3 course special with turtle soup and other choices plus the variety of 25 cent martinis to go with each course. She also raved about the beignets with cafe au lait dipping sauce and chocolate sauce for dessert. I am sad that CP- Nola will not be open next month when we visit but then again, itgives me an excuse to go to Vegas to visit CP and Rosemary's!
