I was in Bridge Kitchenware this weekend and noticed that they are moving in July. They told me that they will have a big moving sale prior to this which will be advertised in the NY Times. I love this store - it has furnished me with my first pots, my KitchenAid and many other useful items - whether I lived in NYC, Miami or DC - and has a soft spot in my heart, due to its founder, Fred Bridge.
When my boyfriend (now husband) offered to buy me some decent pots for my birthday, I started to investigate brands. I called Bridge to ask if they carried All Clad. Mr. Bridge answered and told me, "Madam, we do not carry junk," and continued to tell me about Sitram, which I purchased. He kindly autographed his book on kitchen equipment for me. He has died, but his sons continue the tradition of carrying quality kitchenware.
So, keep your eyes out for the sale.
