Y'know how Trader Joe's always says it's best to cook their IQF seafood from frozen? Well, how exactly have you hounds done that? I find that when I try to do a dry-rub/spice mixture and then cook from frozen, the rub sticks to the pan and the fish takes forever to cook...leaving a slightly gummy texture when it's all said and done.

Any ideas/hints/suggestions?
