Cooking dried not fresh pasta

What type of pan do you find best for cooking 12 to 14 inch Spagetti ? I have tried many pans but always seem to end in a balancing act with pans of boiling water the pasta and my fingers. Has anyone got a pan where the spagetti can be put into full height boiling water?
