Cooking from Bread Toast Crumbs - the Meals Recipes

MidwesternerTT | Oct 25, 201805:17 AM     2

This is a place to discuss the meal recipes from BREAD TOAST CRUMBS: Recipes for No-Knead Loaves & Meals to Savor Every Slice by Alexandra Stafford with Lisa Lowery. Several of us made and reported on various bread recipes from the book when no-knead bread was dish of the month (DOTM) in April 2018 and you are encouraged to continue to add your bread comments there. https://www.chowhound.com/post/dotm-a... But there's still the rest of the book waiting to be explored. Let's get started.

The recipe reporting style from the Cookbook of the Month discussions works well. Put the recipe name all in CAPS, along with page number if known. Others who make that recipe should post their comments as a reply to the first report of the recipe, so all comments/reviews of a recipe are grouped together.
