Cooking and Baking from Brooks Headley's Fancy Desserts:

Let's use this thread to talk about our experience cooking and baking out of Brooks Headley's Fancy Desserts, the controversial winner of the 2015 Piglet competition. I am just about finished with my initial read through, and I am ready to start working my way through his recipes. I've already encountered some roadblocks stock piling my pantry, so I thought it would be helpful for us to have a place to discuss questions, successes and frustrations we encounter while working our way through this book.
