I tried to make cookies w/ nonfat yogurt and they came out rubbery, much like chewing gum :) so I threw them out. I didn't use anything but flour, yogurt, one egg, sugar and zest from an orange and lime. And even though I used a little less than one cup of sugar, they actually came out sickly sweet tasting (?).
I also made an onion dip using yogurt instead of sour cream. I put additional herbs/spices to try to mask the yogurt flavor to no avail. The dip recipes I've read through that use a yogurt base still include lemon but I'm afraid it will make it way too sour. Will lemon juice help mask the yogurt flavor?
