Cookbook discounts via LivingSocial

Though I am in New England, via I received an e-mail offer from LIvingSocial Des Moines
for $15 to get $30 worth of Gooseberry Patch cookbooks. I find LivingSocial to be a confusing site. It was unclear if this is good nation-wide or not. The GP website does not retail online but lists locations selling their books, and these include national chains like Joann's Fabrics.

GP cookbooks have mostly basic recipes but they are highly-designed in a country-quaint style which makes them suitable as gifts. They are like the cookbook version of frilly gift baskets of fancy handsoaps and bath salts.
