i'm fairly new to cooking, and my current (only) cookbook is the new edition of 'joy of cooking', which i'm totally in love with. i'm looking to buy a second, but i've heard some cookbooks' recipes are not as 'good' as others (i don't know the correct adjective--when i say 'good', i mean if i follow the directions carefully, there's a high chance the dish will turn out.)
a friend recommends 'lidia's italian american kitchen'. i love watching her show, and i love her restaurants--is this the next cookbook for me? if not, what would make a good second book?
thanks in advance!
