Continuation - 'World class restaurants' in Toronto

Hello Chowhound 'Fatboy44'.... Once again I totally agree with your deduction and insight. With Donald Trump and Ritz Carlton both opening up high end properties in Toronto, I won't be surprise to see a Ducasse opening up a 'Spoon' or Jean George Vongoriton opening up a 'Vong' up here in a few years time. As for Rob Feenie, I remember seeing an article in Toronto Life a year or two back when he received some lousy treatment from Susur Lee and his staff whilst dining in Susur with his sous chef. At that time, rumour has it that Rob Feenie was so mad that he vouched to open up a restaurant in TO just to compete with Susur. Unfortunately, the ideal property has been pre-empted by Thuet! Actually, my most 'hope-for' scenario will be to see Thomas Keller opening up a 'Bouchon' type restaurant in our Niagara wine region. That would really elevate our wine region's status. Any predictions my friend?!!
