Confirmation on Los Angeles restaurant closures

I had the opportunity today of selling some wine to Rabbi Uri Pilichowski, of Beth Jacob Congregation, the large modern Orthodox synagogue in Beverly Hills. He confirmed to me that not only are Mamash and Prime Grill closed, but also Magic Carpet and a couple of other places (BBC?), all in the Pico area, and all within the last month or so. He said that of all of them, only Magic Carpet closed because of owner retirement, and all of the rest closed because of bad management and lack of supporting sales. Just some information, for good or for bad.
