Is it proper to ask a concierge to secure dining reservations outside of the dates of your hotel stay? I'm planning a very special trip to Paris for the holidays and I would like to stay at a very nice hotel, but the Grand Luxe suite for an entire week would cost me an entire paycheck. However, I don't think that a small hotel would be able to offer concierge services to secure the tables that I want for my very special trip with my girlfriend. Is it reasonable to stay at a four-star establishment for only two nights but to ask for help with reservations for dates after one has checked out? I'm new at being cosmopolitan.
