We moved to Seattle a few months ago and want to compare notes with the locals here who've been in Seattle for a while. I would love some more recommendations for some good restaurants to check out.
Lark - Eaten there 2wice so far. Very tasty food with unique flavors. You can tell there are foodies back there doing the cooking. Very down to earth staff, even had one of the owners come by and chat with us for a long time. Very interesting space with alot of character.
Union - had the tasting menu and was sadly disappointed. Every dish was bland. Service was great. Ambiance was cold and felt like a business lunch kind of restaurant.
Lampreia - best meal we've had in Seattle. Incredibly bold flavors in every bite. Kobe Beef Gravlax is very unique and highly recommended. Great service but kind of stuffy atmosphere.
Restaurant Zoe - "hip" crowd. Good service. Nice open space. Food was good but not that memorable. Seemed like a place where you go to "be seen"?
