I have begun planning my vacation for mid May. 1 week Toronto and then 1 week Boston. (I am excited. It is my 1st time for both!) Anyway, I don't know if this is "normal" or not, but while others may plan a trip around attractions, I plan it around the food. ;-) I have looked at countless restaurant "reviews" on the web, but I am a little disappointed. You have no idea how many times I have read something like "The lobster here is overpriced. You can get it much cheaper at many other places in Boston." ... Then they never bother mentioning these so called "cheaper" places - like we are supposed to miracuously know which places they are refering too! (If you could see me, I'm rolling my eyes right now. haha!)
I know there are a lot of threads on here, and I do plan to read them (I've read about 1/2 already!) Please, don't ask me to do a search... I'm just wondering what the places are that shouldn't be missed.(and won't break my modest budget) I LOVE seafood, but I also plan on partaking of all the wonderful ethnic places. Midwest Grill is already near the top of my list...
I will be staying in Somerville near Davis Square (at the Morrison House B&B - if anyone is familiar with it, you can tell me about it) I won't have a car, but I am excited about the T. I hear it will take me everywhere! (If it doesn't, my feet will!)
Thanks in advance!!
Oh BTW, I plan on taking this tour!
