Best combination of food and atmosphere in Chinatown?

I'm looking for something (for dinner) with great, authentic food--either Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, or Taiwanese, but that is not a total whole in the wall, doesn't have a terrible draft, and is fun for a small group. Great soups, vegetables, and seafood dishes particularly preferred. The only places I've been in Chinatown so far are Ginza (where I've found the sushi to be pretty good but we're not going for sushi tonight), Taiwan Cafe (liked it a lot and we may go there tonight), Xinh Xinh (love it for lunch but not for dinner), Mei Sum (ditto what I said for Xinh Xinh), and Pho Pasteur (found it just so-so and also more a lunch place IMO). I know this is a broad request but thanks for your help! It's quite confusing sorting through all the Chinatown threads...
