Have been to CK before for dinner but tried the b'kfst yesterday for the first time. Outstanding.
Started with donut holes. To die for. Serving of eight is a small tub. Warm and light, cake style, covered with powdered sugar.
For main I tried a salmon patty Benedict special, which was excellent; salmon patty on sun-dried tomatos (in place of ham), napped with hollandaise. Served with home fries. Also had cheese grits on the side. My SO had fried eggs and sausage; sausage was fresh pork sausage, two big links, and very authentic country style like in the midwest where I grew up. My daughter had French toast, two massive slices nicely done with an assertive orange flavor.
I can highly recommend breakfast at CK. Only downside is that the secret is already out and you need to plan on a 30 min. wait for a table.
