Coerpers Steakhouse in Milwaukee

BUCKEYE | Feb 20, 200111:25 AM     8

When I used to go to Milw on business in mid 90s we used to go to Coerpers Steakhouse (i hope I have spelling right) for dinner. It was excellent but it was in REALLY BAD AREA that, when we'd describe location to natives their jaws would drop open. The other strange thing was they'd take your order while you were seated at bar (place always crowded even on freezing weeknights)so when you sat down you wouldn';t have to wait long. It was a word of mouth place (looks like a neighborhood bar from outside)and they'd call a cab for you and tell you to wait inside till cab was out front.
Is this still around?
