Trying to clone (Boston's) Speed Dog relish

greygarious | Jan 13, 2012 06:00 PM

Boston's Speed Dog food truck turns out the hot dog that the Wall Street Journal calls the country's best. Warren Buffett is among its fans. I will never get down there, so I ordered a jar each of the mustard, BBQ sauce, and relish. (Besides, I prefer a different brand of frank, and a multigrain bun.)Apparently, online toppings sales is a new feature for Gary, the owner. There were some hiccups and delays but the order was finally sent out 19 days after I placed it. I seem to recall hearing that the franks themselves are bathed in apple juice or cider. The relish, which I really like, seems fruity but I am not sure what's in it (labels don't say). Can anyone help me crack this?
