Client Birthday Dinner

Frank | Mar 22, 2004 02:37 AM

One of my clients has a birthday coming up, and I have to organize a dinner with 15 to 20 people for him.

He loves Asian food, but doesn't have the most sophisticated palette (like, Food Court Chinese is a score for him).

I'd like to provide an haute-cuisine experience for him, in a lively setting. I'm thinking some tony place like Koi would be nice, but I've yet to actually enjoy dinner there. I've thought about Crustacean (but I think the food sucks), Mr. Chow (don't know what it would be like for a big party), and Matsuhisa (so not a big party kind of place).

I have a few weeks to plan, and very much appreciate suggestions.

Thank you in advance.
