Clear Sky Cafe: Great new B'fast joint on Clearwater Beach

DH and I tried out a new breakfast/lunch spot on Clearwater Beach that I would recommend. Clear Sky Cafe is on Mandalay--right next to the new Sandpearl Resort--and has been open about 2 weeks. We were impressed by the scope of the menu and the quality of the food. The menu offers a wide variety of b'fast fare, including omelettes, benedicts, homemade corned beef hash, quiche, crepes, French toast, Belgian waffles, biscuits and gravy, and grits, in addition to the usual eggs/bacon/sausage fare. DH's omelette was huge, perfectly executed, and overflowing with fresh ingredients. My seafood crepes were delectable. We tried a side of the corned beef hash and weren't disappointed. Prices are reasonable (mostly in the $6 - $8 range), especially for a joint on the beach. They're currently open for b'fast and lunch during the week, and for dinner on the weekend. They plan to eventually be open seven days for all three meals. Can't beat a good breakfast that you can then walk off on the beach just a 1/2 block away.
