I've been looking at saucepans for an induction range, which I hope to purchase in a new condo. Unless I am missing something, both the SS and the D5 saucepans are quite a bit less expensive in the 3 qt than in the 2 qt size. This seems contrary to me, unless the demand is much greater for the 2 qt and the company is therefore charging more for these.
Currently, at WS, the 1.5 qt d5 is priced at $175; the 2 qt at $195; and the 3 qt at $139.95; 4 qt at $265
At Sur le Table, the d5 saucepan: 1.5 qt $99; 2 qt $214.95; 3 qt $149; 4 qt $289
What am I missing?
