All-Clad has just re-launched its once popular line of hard-anodized LTD cookware: (See the link below.)
It would appear that All-Clad has elected to returned to the roots of the LTD concept, and is offering the re-booted line in its original configuration of thick, pure, unadulterated, hard-anodized, cladded aluminum; i.e., no d5 (or d7) "innovations". The primary change seems to consist of the addition of updated (and hopefully more ergonomic) handles, along with the use of the "drip-less rim" concept, as employed on most of its other recent lines of cookware. Williams-Sonoma looks to be the only carrier of the line at this moment, but that should change as time goes on.
So what does anybody think of this LTD re-boot? I personally liked the old line of LTD, and would be more than happy to see it make a comeback. (Albeit at somewhat lower prices than the ones presenting at the current re-launch - yikes! ☺)
