Among the limited selection the LCBO now has a superb Cider from Normandy - which is hardly moving despite it being head and shoulders better than all others I've tried.
It's the Eric Bordelet Brut Tendre Cidre # 444177 (Vintages).
It doesn't help that it's shelved among the miscellaneous sweet wines, despite it being just a touch off-dry. It's also cheaper than the Quebec ciders which lack its complexity.
This is a GREAT food cider - perfect with spicy food (and on the winelist at Ji restaurant, where it's a perfect match with the food).

And Bordelet ciders are the gold standard for that category - you'll find them in many 3 star restaurants in Europe, but normally only available as private imports here.

Edit: Just reread this - looks like spam, but I have no connection - just a huge fan of this product and wanted to bring it to the attention of others.
