Where are the best (freshly made) cider donuts within an hour or two of Boston? I've had the ones at Goodale Orchards (near Crane's Beach) and I wasn't that impressed. Hot and fresh, to be sure, but not much oomph. A few years ago I had superb ones in some little shack on a side road somewhere in Central Mass., but I have no idea even what town I was in (it was probably in the vicinity of North Brookfield, but I'm not sure), let alone what road I was on.

Many thanks in advance for your suggestions.
