Hello. New here and relatively new to CI use. I've read some posts and tried rehabbing this skillet but not much success. I'd appreciate any suggestions. I have finally gotten to the steel wool method to remove some cooked on debris that resisted any other attempts to remove. This is following the hot searing of beef to form a lovely crust then baking in the oven for a short while. I've never been able to get the skillet back to form. Is it a lost cause? Any suggestions appreciated. Thank in advance. Current photo attached. This is a Lodge skillet if that matters.
