Churros in NYC?

I was preparing for a trip out west to visit the fam, where I'll be in Baja for a while. It got me thinking back to when we used to drive back over to the US side of the border, and you'd have vendors selling these wonderful, warm churros (12 for $1) that you'd eat in the car, while waiting to cross the border...

And, that got me thinking...

is there anywhere that sells good, mexican churros around here? I did a search and didn't find any recent postings. The last I saw was one from Eric Eto about a vendor on Roosevelt Ave in Queens. But what about East Harlem or Sunset Park or somewhere else? I'm trying to rack my brains, but I don't think I've ever seen them being sold on the street around any of these places. I'm not positive, but I think it would have triggered that pavlov dog thing, so I would have noticed...

Anyhow, is there anywhere I can reliably find some good churros in Manhattan or the boroughs? Or shall I just hold off three weeks until I'm in Baja and can get them aplenty...
