Chung King & Szechuan Dumplings in Hot Oil

Went to Chung King (206 S Garfield Ave, Monterey Park ) the other night and was, for the first time in a dozen visits, a little let down. The flavors were off, mostly because of the famously missing Szechuan Pepper Corns (see threads elsewhere about the USDA, prickly ash and the wicked citrus canker). And there was a noisy squabble in the kitchen after which no food came out for about 15 minutes.

But the truly disappointing thing was this: I couldn't seem to order the dish that is usually called something like "Dumpling in Red Oil" or "Dumpling in Hot Oil". Instead, all I got was wontons in a vaguely spicy broth. Could some smart person tell me the Chinese name for the dish I am after?
