Frequented the always wonderful Chung Ki Wah last night and was surprised to find prices for most of the items had been raised four or five dollars. Also many of the regular cuts of meat had been wiped from the menu. At Phillip's BBQ last weekend they had a sign up saying prices on beef had been raised as well, albeit a minor 50 cents (although of the four beef ribs we had two were of the usual Phillip's ultimate deliciousness, but the other two were obviously from a different lesser cut of meat). What gives? Are we in the middle of a beef crisis or something? Don't think McD's has raised its prices.
