Krys was sweet enough (pun intended) to gift me with a box of Chuao artisan chocolates from San Diego.
So I'm picking through the box looking for chocolates suitable for eating for breakfast, and finally settled on the honey truffle (good, but not as amazing as the one from LA Burdick) and Chevere: goat cheese, pear William and crushed black pepper butter cream.
Wow! I never imagined goat cheese and chocolate, but the tangy-tartness really works with the chocolate, and there's a lingering finish of black pepper.
So two questions: anyone else make goat cheese chocolates, and what should I try next from this box?
