I (like Jen Kalb) was also surprised by you rating
Chrystie Village and NTG over Nyonya. I'm curious to
know what you have tried at Nyonya.
It is easy to stick to Malaysian dishes -- only a
small percentage of the menu is Chinese (which should
Nyonya has the widest range of Malaysian dishes, and I
consider it is the overall best so far. NTG has a
couple of things that are better than Nyonya (the
rojak and the chow kway teow). I agree with Jen that
Chrystie Village is not really that good.
A close second to Nyonya these days is Rasa Sayang in
Jackson Hts. Very good rojak, clam kway teow, beef
rendang, poh pia and satay. Have not tried the Hainan
chicken rice yet -- if someone has, please post your
