Christmas Eve at Fifth Avenue Grill

Linda VH | Dec 25, 201409:48 AM

What a great time! Despite the fact that they were extremely busy the food was very good. DH and 18 yr. old had Gorgonzola Salad to start and I had oysters. Dinner for kid and I was the Fifth Avenue Beef Wellington. I ordered extremely rare hoping that I'd get a true rare and it came out perfectly. The pastry wasn't as done as his but was just fine for me. DH had an end cut of prime rib. We had, hot fudge/butterscotch sundae, banana split and apple pie a la mode for dessert. Yum! They go over the top in decorations and the sommelier does all the decorating each year. Great evening!
