Chowhound Scouting Expedition - Qi Gong

Paul H | Jun 3, 2003 01:35 PM

A group of Chowhounds are set to trek out to the Richmond district on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in search of Hakka cuisine. The Citysearch review for Qi Gong lists "sparkling Hakka cuisine at bargain prices." There is also a reviwe of this place on the GERMAN Yahoo site! Maybe this is a Chowplace that needs discovering.

Hakka cuisine (from migratory Han people) includes dishes such as "Salt Baked Chicken" "Duck stuffed with rice" "stuffed tofu cubes" and "beef ball soup". Will we find these delicacies at Qi Gong? Come along and find out.

I have no idea if this restaurant is worth going to. I have no idea if the food is edible, but the hounds are on the trail! More hounds means more dishes.

Please email me at me address above if you are interested. (Note: you may have reply to my anti-spam filter to get the message to me). We will limit the group to eight.
