Chowhound resource for Rome, Florence and Venice

Jim Zurer | Apr 26, 200110:30 AM

If you are planning a visit to Italy, I would like to bring to your attention a newly published guide which will be of great assistance in shaping your eating agenda.

"Trattorias of Rome, Florence and Venice" by Maureen B. Fant has just been published by The Ecco Press and is now available in bookstores, both real and virtual. Maureen Fant writes frequently about restaurants and Italy for the NY Times Travel Section. This book provides a comprehensive, up-to-date look at good food and drink in these three tourist destinations.

NOTE: I will stipulate that Maureen is a good friend of my wife and mine and that we assisted in some of the research in Venice. However, I have no financial interest in the book and only wish to promote a valuable resource for Chowhounds in Italy.
