Chowhound nettiquette rule?

HotDillPickle | May 20, 2003 02:40 PM

Is there a chowhound nettiquette rule asking that the first person mentioning a restaurant or location putting the address into the message? If not, there should be. It is a burden, of course, but it should be considered the cost of starting a new thread, or countering a recommendation with another suggestion. I notice that at least one hound does this consistently, and neatly (i.e., at the end of the message). Not all of us have been to all of these restaurants, nor we will be able to unless we know where they are.
