We're frequent readers/posters to Chowhound...and we've become increasingly frustrated with the limited options there are for drinks/dinner that aren't too high-end (not we don't love Clio, Radius, Upstairs, etc) but are way above the Vinny T's, Legal Seafoods and other mediocre restaurants that exist in Boston.
So, we're wondering...what would your 5 or 10 picks be with the following criteria?
-Serves good drinks (for before/after/during)
-Interesting/Good quality food (meal, not tapas)
-Good location (i.e near public transportation)
Under $100 for two people.
We came up with Audubon, Silvertone, Washington Square Tavern, Central Kitchen, Grotto (prix fix), B-Side, Osushi and maybe Teatro. I'd put Franklin Cafe on the list, too...but it's near impossible to have dinner there without waiting an hour or so.
Any other's we're missing on our rotation?
